This is my proudest achievement as a marketer – THE POD! It’s a project I have recently managed for an internal marketing campaign based around our sponsorship of London 2012 Olympics. I had this idea to form an experiential, interactive tool that engages its audience on a different level to those traditionally used to communicate messages. THE POD will visit 56 Corporate sites across the UK, touching approx. 95,000 staff over a period of four months.
This video is a promo by the agency I used to build it. They are now looking into marketing it into other organisations.
And here are some pics of the POD at my launch in London last week! The smaller version is ‘THE PODLET’ designed for smaller buildings. Its the same experience but used with wireless headphones.
Check out this bar in Amsterdam, i think its a great idea… basically, instead of going to the bar and waiting 2 hours to get served (as we do) you just go to your own minibar and get what you want. You can select what you want in your minibar and it gets restocked throughout the night by staff stood behind the wall! Great idea!!
