South Wales has many stunning wedding venues throughout the country. When I first started filming wedding here I was amazed by how many venues there are, some are the big famous ones, others that you wouldn’t even know existed.
So here’s my list of venues that I love in South Wales. Some of them I have filmed weddings here, others I have dreamed of filming weddings and some I might not have filmed any weddings but I’ve been a guest.

King Arthur
I’ve been lucky enough to film my friends wedding here, so I was a guest and wedding videographer in one. It’s an award winning wedding venue in the Gower Swansea. Perfect location for me to film as I’m based in Port Talbot and have wedding videography Swansea services.
Norton House Hotel
This venue holds a very special place in my heart. It was the very first wedding venue I filmed in and currently the last. Both weddings on Friday the 13th. It’s situated in The Mumbles, again very close to where I live. I would personally say it’s more suited for smaller weddings. With the beach only down the road there are lovely places to go for the couple photoshoot.
Fairyhill
Part of the Oldwalls Collection, Fairyhill is a luxury wedding. I had the privilege of filming here in my very first year of filming weddings. I was supposed to of filmed her in 2020 but as we know Covid stopped that happening.
Oldwalls
The Oldwalls wedding experience is out of this world. Again part of the Oldwalls Collection, this venue is another luxury 5 star wedding venue. I filmed here in 2019 and had a blast. I stay for the fireworks display as well, so it’s definitely worth booking me for this one.
Hensol Castle
I haven’t yet filmed here, but it’s definitely on the list. I would love to get some epic drone shots of this venue. Its situated within a breathtaking estate, accompanied by a fifteen acre serpentine lake, who wouldn’t want to get married here.
The Vale Resort
A stone throw away from Hensol Castle, The Vale resort is the perfect South Wales Wedding Venue. I was lucky enough to film here in my first year of filming weddings. I was a few days after Christmas, and I was really looking forward to filming there. The editing in January gave men something to do lol.
Bryn Meadows Golf, Hotel and Spa
I haven’t actually filmed here, or been as a guest but it’s on my list of venue I would love to film in and provide my wedding videography south Wales services. It’s a 4 star luxurious family owned resort. Over the last 6 years they have been nominated and shortlisted as ‘Best Venue’ and won in 2017.
The Bear Hotel
I filmed here in November 2019 and was pleasantly surprised. I met the couple at the wedding fayre hosted by the venue. The Bear Hotel is a lot bigger than I thought. I’ve got a few booked in here for the end of 2021 so I’m looking forward to those weddings.
Canada Lodge and Lake
To me, this venue looks gorgeous. It’s been on my list, luckily I’ve got a wedding booked in for September this year and I can’t wait. It’s another venue I can’t wait to get epic drone footage of.
Rosedew Farm
Ive been a wedding guest here and stayed in the log cabins. I love this venue and I’m filming my first wedding here in September 2021 and I can not wait. When I was a guest here in 2016 the food was unbtelibevale, literally this was what we were all talking about, even to this day.
